Uganda Certificate of Education UCE Results 2022/2023 | UCE Exam Results 2022 Pdf Download: The Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) 2022 results are expected to be released tomorrow, Thursday February 9, 2023 by the Minister of Education and Sports, Mrs. Janet K. Museveni. After a lot of waiting by graduates as well as parents/guardians, finally the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has released official information about the announcement of UCE results.
Yesterday February 7 2023, Minister of State for Higher Education, John Chrysostom Muyingo, verified that the results of the Uganda Certificate of Education exam could be announced tomorrow. Sources from the Uganda National Examinations Board mentioned they will provide an update to the Minister of Education on the overall performance of senior four students taking the 2022 UCE exam today, Wednesday 8th February, before the results are published.
A total of 349,445 candidates took the UCE 2022 examination from 3703 Examination Centres. Among them, there were 175,923 men (50.3%) and 173,522 women (49.7%). 114,200 candidates (32.7%) were sponsored under the Universal Secondary Education Program (USE) while 235,245 candidates (77.3%) were non-USE. 51 prisoners will also write their examination from Luzira High Prison.

If you are a student took UCE exam in 2022, parent, or anyone who wants to check the exam results of a candidate, you can make use of the Short Message Services (SMS) on your mobile device.
To do so, simply type in UCE followed by the candidate’s full index number, for example, U0001/008 and send it to 6600. This will allow you to receive the results instantaneously.
Checking UCE Exam Results 2022 Online
UCE Exam Results will also be uploaded to the exam centers’ portals. Schools can download the results after they are officially released. No hard copies of the results will be available at the UNEB offices, until a later date when conditions permit. To check the results online, please follow the steps listed below.
- Open any web-browser and go to the UNEB eReg Portal using URL https://ereg.uneb.ac.ug/
- On the Results Page, Enter your Index Number.
- Click on Search and wait for your results to appear on the next page.
