LET March 2023 Results of Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers Released in Forty-Two (42) Working Days

The results of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), which was held on March 19, 2023, at 37 testing sites around the Philippines, have been issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT). The exam was passed by 24,819 candidates out of a total of 60,896 elementary school examinees, giving a pass percentage of 40.76%. Similarly, 48,005 of the 102,272 secondary teacher examinees passed, for a pass percentage of 46.94%.

Among the primary school teachers who passed, 19,390 were taking the exam for the first time, while 5,429 were repeaters who had taken the exam before. For secondary teachers who passed, 39,890 people were first-time candidates, and 8,115 repeated.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) issued the results of the large-scale Teachers’ Licensing Exam (LET) in October 2022 after fifty-six (56) working days. A total of 71,080 secondary teachers (50.94%) passed the examinations out of 139,534 examinees.

The PRC revealed the results of the June 2022 Teachers’ Licensing Exam (fourth and last Batch of LET for the postponed board examinations in 2020-2021) in 30 working days. Of the 20,191 examinees, 10,193 secondary teachers (50.48%) passed the tests.

The PRC revealed the results of the March 2022 Third Batch of LET in just twenty-five (25) working days. The tests were passed by 7,809 secondary teachers (41.72%) out of 18,717 examinees.

The PRC released the results for the January 2022 Batch 2 LET in thirty (30) working days. Among the 15,696 examinees, 8,737 primary teachers (55.66%) passed the examinations.

The PRC released the results for the September 2021 First Batch of LET after 47 working days. Out of 17,863 examinees, 10,318 secondary teachers (57.76%) passed the tests.

Prior to the pandemic, the PRC released the results of the September 2019 teacher’s board test within fifty (50) working days. Among the 136,523 examinees, 54,179 secondary teachers (39.68%) passed the tests.

The results of the March 2019 LET were accessible online in forty-two (42) working days. Of the 85,823 examinees, 22,271 secondary teachers (25.95%) passed the tests.

The PRC released the LET results for the September 2018 examinations after fifty-two (52) working days. A total of 60,803 secondary teachers (48.03%) passed the examinations out of a total of 126,582 examinees.

Please keep in mind that the average passing percentage for the Let Result Secondary Level test was 38.44% from March 2013 to January 2022, which means that 4 out of every 10 candidates passed the examinations.
