The Tanzania Standard Seven Results are the results of the finalist primary school level education exams. The standard seven exams are taken by students at the end of standard seven, which is the last year of primary school in Tanzania. The key aim of the NECTA standard seven exams is to ensure that all students have a basic knowledge of English, Kiswahili, Mathematics and Science.
The exams are used to determine whether a student can progress to secondary school, and they’re also used as a measure of how well the country’s education system is performing. Results are released each November or early December after standard seven exams marking process have been taken nationwide.

Release Of Necta Standard Seven Results 2022
The national examination council of Tanzania (NECTA) announced the 2022 standard seven examination results on Monday, September 2. The results were released at Necta headquarters in Dar es Salaam.
As per the announcement, there were 1.34 million candidates who sat for the examination this year. Of these, 1.07 million ( 79.62 percent) passed by getting grades A, B and C. Of those, 558,825 are girls who is equal to 78.91 percent and boys are 514,577 equal to 80.41 percent.

How To Check Matokeo Ya Darasa la Saba
- Visit www.necta.go.tz to access the official NECTA website.
- Choose “Results” from the website’s main menu bar, then “PSLE,” and finally, choose the desired result year.
- The list of all Tanzanian regions will then appear. Next, select the district in which your child’s school is located by clicking on the district name.
- To check the standard seven results for that school, click the link for the school where your child attends.

Previous NECTA Standard Seven Results 2021
The National Examination Council of Tanzania announced the results of the 2021 primary school education exam and reported that 907,802 candidates passed. Announcing the results on Saturday, October 30, 2021, Executive Secretary Charles Msonde said that this was an increase of 8.89 percent from 2020 pass rate.

Out of 1,107,460 students who were sited for the 2021 Necta standard seven exam, 907,802 students were reported succeeded. These students obtained 121 or more points out of 300 points,” the spokesman said. “Among them, girls are 467,967 (81.43 percent) and boys are 439,835 (82.56).
In 2020, the number of successful candidates was 833,672, so the number of successful candidates in 2021 has increased by 74,130 candidates, equal to 8.89 percent compared to 2020,” he said.
