Muslim University of Morogoro courses Offered MUM, Kozii Zinazotolewa Chuo Cha MUM Morogoro: The Muslim University of Morogoro was founded on October 23, 2004 in response to Tanzania’s rising demand for higher education. The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) recognizes the University as a private Chartered University.

Its Charter was signed by H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania’s fourth phase administration, under the University Act, (2005), Cap. 346, enacted under Section 25 (2) of the Law. MUM has gained national and regional acclaim after being admitted to the Tanzania Association of Private Universities (TAPU) and the Inter-Universities Council for East Africa (IUCEA)

The Muslim University of Morogoro is dedicated to providing high-quality education by upholding the best standards of teaching, learning, research, outreach, and consulting in order to provide holistic development for students and society as a whole. The MUM’s major goal is to help the Muslim population in Tanzania, in particular, and others in general, progress their education.
