Qualifications Of The Applicant

The applicant must have a Form IV Certificate and a Class E or C driving license that he has worked for at least one year without causing an accident. Must have attended basic Vocational Training (VETA) or another College recognized by the Government.

Duties and Responsibilities

i) Vehicle Safety Inspection: Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle’s safety and functionality.

ii) Employee Transportation: Provide transportation for employees on business trips, ensuring their safe and timely arrival at their destinations.

iii) Minor Vehicle Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to keep the vehicle in optimal working condition.

iv) Document Handling: Responsible for collecting and distributing various documents, packages, and items as required.

v) Journey Records: Maintain a detailed travel notebook, recording all relevant information for each journey, including mileage, destinations, and any noteworthy incidents.

vi) Vehicle Cleaning: Keep the vehicle clean and presentable, both inside and out, for a professional and comfortable travel experience.

vii) Ad Hoc Tasks: Be prepared to undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor, contributing to the efficient operation of the department.
