Courses Offered At Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College TUDARCo, Kozi zinazotolewa Chuo Kikuu Cha Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College TUDARCo: Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College (TUDARCo) is a constituent college of Tumaini University Makumira (TUMA) and is controlled by the Eastern and Coastal Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT).

TUMA is near Arusha on the Usa River (Makumira). Currently, the TUMA is made up of three component colleges: Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (KCMUCo) in Moshi, Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College (TUDARCo) in Dar es Salaam, and Stefano Moshi Memorial University College (SMMUCo) in Moshi.

TUDARCo has its roots in the then-Waldorf College Tanzania (WCT), which was founded in 1997 as a branch and then a mission of Waldorf College, Forest City in Iowa, USA. The Waldorf College of Tanzania (WCT) was founded by the United States of America’s Waldorf College, Iowa Forest Hill.

The Waldorf College Council chose to discontinue its activities in Tanzania in 2001, and the College was handed over to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania’s Eastern and Coastal Diocese (ECD-ELCT). The Waldorf College of Tanzania then joined the Tumaini University family and changed the name to Tumaini University Dar-es-Salaam College (TUDARCo)
