Courses offered At Mkwawa University College of Education MUCE, Kozi zinazotolewa Mkwawa University Courses offered: The Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) is situated 3 kilometers from the municipal center of Iringa Municipality in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania.

In order to meet the rising need for secondary school teachers, MUCE was upgraded from the former Mkwawa High School and formed as a Constituent College of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) on September 1, 2005.

MUCE is divided into three faculties: the Faculty of Education (FoED), the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FoHSS), and the Faculty of Science (FoSC). Candidates admitted to the College pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Science and the Arts

How To Apply For Various Courses offered At Mkwawa University College of Education

Applicants with direct qualifications, that is, applicants who have achieved the Advanced level of secondary education (Form VI), must apply through the TCU’s Central Admission System.

TCU will accept equivalent applicants with degrees in education, NTA level 6 and non-NTA level 6 through CAS. Other equivalent applicants (such as post-form VI certificates and bachelor degree holders) will continue to apply to the University of Dar es Salaam.

Applicants with equivalent qualifications can get the Application forms from the Directorate of Undergraduate Studies, Administration Block, Room 105, or they will be given directly to the applicant upon request, but only if the applicant satisfies the requisite admission standards.

Application forms can also be received at Regional Education Officers’ (REOs’) offices or downloaded from the University’s website, www.udsm.ac.tz.

The completed forms must be submitted to the Director of Undergraduate Studies by the deadline specified in the advertising asking for applications for the specific admission season.

Only applicants who fulfill the University’s basic admittance requirements should submit application forms. Forms submitted by candidates who do not fulfill the minimum entry requirements will not be processed, and any admission fees paid will be lost.
