Certificate And Diploma Courses Offered At the Open University of Tanzania: The Open University of Tanzania (OUT) is a full-fledged, independent, and authorized public university founded by Act No. 17 of Parliament in 1992. The Act went into effect on March 1, 1993, with the publishing of Government Notice No. 55 in the Official Gazette. On January 19, 1994, the first Chancellor was officially inaugurated in a complete ceremony, and the first batch of students was accepted. Following the passage of the Universities Act No. 7 of 2005, OUT began operating under the OUT Charter and Rules (2007) in January 2007.

How To Apply Certificate And Diploma Courses Offered At The Open University of Tanzania

To start your application, you will need to pick up an application form in person at an Open University of Tanzania center or download one from the university’s website ( https://www.out.ac.tz/ ). Then complete the forms and sent them to DPS in person or by mail, along with copies of their academic credentials and transcripts.

After receiving these applications, the directorate forwards them to the appropriate departments for evaluation of their suitability for admission to the programs of their choosing.

Following departmental recommendations, the directorate posts the names of the selected candidates to the university website, following which enrolled students pick up their admission letters at the nearest Open University of Tanzania facility. Following that, students must manually register at the Open University of Tanzania Regional Centres.

• Attached to and sent with the completed form must be certified copies of certificates and their corresponding transcripts. Any application that does not include these papers will not be processed or acknowledged.
