How To Apply Bachelor Degree Courses Offered At Open University of Tanzania

Pick up an application form in person at an Open University of Tanzania center or download one from the university’s website ( https://www.out.ac.tz/ ). Then complete the forms and sent them to DPS in person or by mail, along with copies of their academic credentials and transcripts.

After receiving these applications, the directorate forwards them to the appropriate departments for evaluation of their suitability for admission to the programs of their choosing.

Following departmental recommendations, the directorate posts the names of the selected candidates to the university website, following which enrolled students pick up their admission letters at the nearest Open University of Tanzania facility. Following that, students must manually register at the Open University of Tanzania Regional Centres.

The following techniques are used in traditional application mode:

• Applicants must submit ONLY ONE COPY of this application form.
• Attached to and sent with the completed form must be certified copies of certificates and their corresponding transcripts. Any application that does not include these papers will not be processed or acknowledged.
• A copy of the completed application form and any attachments should be forwarded to any nearby Open University of Tanzania regional/coordinating center or to the Director of Research, Publications, and Postgraduate Studies, The Open University of Tanzania, P. O. Box 23409Dar es Salaam, TANZANIA.
